The Gallagher Group is a company focused on the animal management systems and security system markets, and is based in Hamilton, New Zealand. Established in 1938, the Group continues to be owned by the Gallagher family, and has a network of distribution channels in more than 130 countries.

The company was founded by Bill Gallagher, inventor of the electric fence, now used widely in farming.[1]

The group produces a wide variety of innovative products and services, such as the Tumblewheel, a moveable fence post used to create mobile fences for rotational grazing.[2]
